I work with interactive new media, web-based interfaces, data visualization, and visual design to critically investigate and reimagine our relationship with technology. I have 5 years of experience designing curriculum, workshops, and conducting research with the goal of engaging community members in participatory design to develop technology for public interest.
During my undergrad at Georgia Institute of Technology, I studied Computational Media which included a mix of interaction design, computer science, and media theory. Currently, I am currently pursuing an M.S. in Integrated Design and Media at New York University where my work is focused on researching liberatory technologies through design inquiry. I’m interested in resilient data infrastructures, cybercultural studies, participatory speculation, and designing humanity-centered technology.
